The Hatchetbury is Gainesville’s first axe-throwing venue where novices and professionals alike can come to throw axes, eat, drink, and have a good time! The project is a 5,141 SF interior renovation of a CMU and steel building that once housed a furniture showroom. The scope included complete interior renovation and painting the exterior. Phase 2 will eventually include a bar, outdoor seating area, a VIP lounge, and shuffleboard courts. Heavy woods, carefully placed lighting, and rich colors create a dramatic environment that is cozy with a touch of danger. Everything about the experience the moment you step through the door is thoughtfully designed to be axcellent 🙂
